paint chip repair to clear bra

I was planning on using dr color chip to fill in a few chips before getting my clear bra done. How long do i have to wait in between the paint repair and clear bra applications?

I thought i heard somewhere around 6 weeks. That is just long enough to never finish the process since im sure i will have more chips after 6weeks with no clear bra...

Anyone have a recommendation?.

I would go ahead and install the film. If it is just a few paint chips it will be fine. There is a chance that if you have to remove the film for any reason that it may lift the paint from the chip. Normally paint has to cure 30 days before applying film... but in your case you will accumulate more chips while waiting. I have been installing film for 8 years now and have ran into this before... numerous times. Thats why I always tell people to get the film ASAP before the chips start.
