My Z came with a clear bra and I'm not sure whether it's a "ventureshield" or just a normal 3M, or even another brand. I know I can CLEARLY see the line across the hood and fenders, which I'm not too thrilled with. Is this more visible because the car is black?
It's on the hood, fenders, bumper and mirrors. I have zero experience with these and I was wondering if I need to do anything special with it when cleaning or waxing the car. Are these easy to remove if the visible line begins to annoy me too much? Also, I use something called "Safe Scrub Bug and Tar Remover" during Love Bug season down here in Florida (see attached image and link). This thing is great and ABSOLUTELY works and ABSOLUTELY doesn't damage the finish (if you follow directions), but has anyone used this on a clear bra? Safe Scrub Bug & Tar Pad can be used on glass, chrome, vinyl, fiberglass, paint and clearcoats—100% safe when used with soapy water. |
