Default Care and feeding for Clear Bras

My Z came with a clear bra and I'm not sure whether it's a "ventureshield" or just a normal 3M, or even another brand. I know I can CLEARLY see the line across the hood and fenders, which I'm not too thrilled with. Is this more visible because the car is black?

It's on the hood, fenders, bumper and mirrors.

I have zero experience with these and I was wondering if I need to do anything special with it when cleaning or waxing the car.

Are these easy to remove if the visible line begins to annoy me too much?

Also, I use something called "Safe Scrub Bug and Tar Remover" during Love Bug season down here in Florida (see attached image and link). This thing is great and ABSOLUTELY works and ABSOLUTELY doesn't damage the finish (if you follow directions), but has anyone used this on a clear bra?

Safe Scrub Bug & Tar Pad can be used on glass, chrome, vinyl, fiberglass, paint and clearcoats—100% safe when used with soapy water.

Yes black shows it more, but it shouldn't be too bad.

You can use some alcohol on a cue tip to clean some of the excess wax on the edges.
As most current clear bra's have their own clear coat, you can threat it as the rest of your paint. Just don't use go crazy and do any heavy polishing on it.

I use a good sealant to make sure it stays protected. Have a look around on www.detailersdomain.com. I use Zaino (only sold through Zaino) as it has great protection that lasts really long and looks great.

With a good layer of sealant the bugs usually wash right off.
Otherwise a short soak should take care of it.

i use a soft toothbrush with toothpaste or handsoap (not laundry detergent) and brush along the edges, it works magic.

when i wax i stay clear of the edges.

Toothpaste is a mild abrasive.
To avoid scratches, I would stay with dissolving it, instead of polishing it.

And with a good wax you can wax the edges, just make sure you only move towards the paint and not towards the bra.
