Default scratched car while backing up.

Hi All,

While backing up my 370z from garage, accidently the left bumper got stuck to the garage railing, and came out breaking mount points of bumpers. It is unstable right now. When I realized this, I tried getting the car inside garage, and scratched it from right side, since it was obstructed too.

I am wondering where I can get it fixed, and what would be a cost effective way to do it.
I do not want to take insurance on this.
I accept that it is my fault, while I parked haphazardly and I am the one to be blamed for backing up in haste.
This is my new car, and I feel agonized on my mistake

Get an estimate. If it's greater than your deductable, just go through insurance.

No problem -- glad you are getting it taken care of

I doubt it will raise your insurance by much, especially if first time accident.

If the insurance company you are using sticks it to you, switch companies or threaten to switch if they don't put your rates back. Also, you don't have to wait unti lteh poilcy expires to switch

Sounds like you busted your bumper on both sides?
Just buy a nice after market bumper and you're all set!

sounds like you might need a new bumper. You can get one and have a good autobody shop paint it and you can install it yourself, saving a lot of $. Or take it in with some vaseline and have it done for you. You can also upgrade to a new bumper while you are at it with the Nismo, or Stillen, etc... You are looking around $300-$400 for it to be painted. I am having a Nismo bumper painted next week...

The bumper corner got stuck with the door railing, and pulled it out from the left, due to which the angle of bumper got misaligned. As a result, it will be replaced with Nissan Original new bumper. Also there is a 1 feet x 1 feet imprint of wall on the right door, since while getting the car in, it got scratched with the wall, thats the most expensive part of the deal. Will come to know about the details tomorrow.
I had to go with the best stuff to get the car back to perfection.
Hoping to get the car soon.
