ok to wax in the garage if its raining?
Will the humidity impede the process if waxing my car, even if its in the garage? I was really planning on doing it this weekend but theres a chance of rain.... i don't know how much longer i can wait!!!

Just make sure you apply the wax as thinly as possible, also it depends on what wax you plan to use as some waxes do not need to dry and can be removed directly after you apply them.

Im applying Step 1: precleaner wax (mothers california gold) Step 2: sealer/glaze (mothers california gold) and Megs NXT I bought enough adams towels, wash mits, microfiber cloths to do the job. Their detail kit will come with the money Lets HOPE for no more swirls!!! |

Don't want to crush your hopes, but if you have swirls none of the above products will get rid of them, it will hide them a little at best. You'd need to polish for that.

Careful with that cleaner wax stuff. I could be wrong but I think it might even say not to use it in your owners manual. Could be wrond???

Btw, if you use natural wax and burnish it with your RO, chances are you can get away with waxing on a humid day inside the garage. If you use polymer do a finger smear test before removing. Chances are you will need to let dry overnight with your dehumidifier running.
