Scratches in Black Lock Pillar

Hey guys. I've got some scratches in what I think is called the "lock pillar finisher". It's the black plastic piece between the two side windows. Does anybody have a recommendation on what to use to get these out? Will the clear plastic polishes work? Pic attached

Any advice would be much appreciated!!

If you have a polisher you can polish away the swirl marks. That's what I did.

just get some scratch-x and foam pad. you know those kiwi polishing pads for shoes? those actually work very well
with scratch-x.

i use them all the time for spot polishing. hahaha.

you can get them at your local walgreens or supermarket.

btw, that's called a B-Pillar.

The same thing happened to me. I bought some 3m carbon fiber vinyl from: Carbon Fiber Film | Dedicated To Selling 3M Carbon Fiber DI-NOC Vinyl

I bought the 12x48 for $30 and i have enough to mess up a few times and extra for some interior pieces. Its easy to apply and looks good in my opinion. I got the idea from another member on this forum. Here is the link to his post:3m Ni Doc carbon fiber vinyl

Just be really careful not to break the brackets? used to hold the pillar on. I broke the top piece and am trying to superglue it back since i dont want to pay $100 for a new one

I cleared mine up with m205 and a blue uberpad.
It's pretty soft and doesn't take a lot.

hummmm?

not much pressure needed to polish the b-pillars.

no need to remove the b-pillar to wrap DiNoc....
