Removing gum from paint

Kicked up some fresh chewing gum on side of the car at lunch today. Plan on trying to remove after work. Any ideas? I've heard ice works and bug/tar remover,

Plan on trying to remove after work. Any ideas? I've heard ice works and bug/tar remover, but wondered if anyone has tried something else.
