Is this a joke?

It takes 2 minutes and 17 seconds to wash the hood. Bucket + cloth + towel = clean.

I use a spray bottle of tap water, spray , let it sit 30 sec., and use paper towels.

Paper towel is like sandpaper to a cars paint. Microfiber cloth works..

That stuff is worthless. I wouldn't advise anyone to waste their money on that product.

That's fine if you feel that way my friend as everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I don't have to defend my abilities as my post speak for themselves. You can't please all the people all the time so your opinion comes with the territory. I will, however, say this.

There are those of us who take pride in what we do, how we appear and anything that is associated with our name. Most of that was instilled within us by our upbringing from parents who also carried that same pride. Not all folks can walk that walk and no one is expecting them to do so. With that said, continue to use those OTC products if they give you the results you seek. That is your right granted to you by the constitution of the United States of America. Well sad Junkman, as a bodyshop manager I have seen alot of "snake oil" sold OTC and almost all of it is junk as you stated. If you want professional results use what us professionals use. There are several brands out there and they will provide consistant quality results when used properly. I have personally used 3M products with very good results. Junkyard SEMPER FI from a fellow devil dog.

Semper Fi devil dog!

I too use 3M products when working with 1000 grit paper and lower. It is my product of choice when dealing with body shop grade repairs. I go to Meguiar's when I need a little bit of aggressiveness but most of what I do can be handled with Adam's products. There is no one magic bullet for me, I believe in using the right tools for the job.
