Removing water spots on many layers of sealant?
Alright i have like 10 layers of Liquid Glass on my car. I notice with the more layers of a sealant like that when you get a water spot. It goes through a layer or few making it unable to wipe off due to its a actual indentation through the sealants. Or at least thats what i think is happening.
What do you think is the best way to remove these spots with out actually whipping out a porter cable? So far I am thinking trying claybar might be the only way if at all possible to smooth down the area's

I don't think the clay bar will do it....This site has some great products. I have been buying from them for years. The guys on the phone also know some interesting tricks as well!!

I am not getting these spots from washing my car. Its getting there from water getting on the car at night via condensation then some how burning its way through during the week.
Not sure i want to use something i cant even touch with my own hands.

well the reason you wear gloves is because your hands are exposed to it longer than your car is(applying it) and skin is diff than clear coat. However, if you dont want to do it, you can polish them out with a porter cable.
the product i use and some detailers here use (because of high mineral content of water here in southeast) is Bio-clean 1-800-341-5417 is their direct line or biocleanproducts@yahoo.com. i can just tell you it did a great job on my 370. I know people who use the bioclean with a PC as well. Anyway-your car-your choice of what to do. I just wish you the best. |
