Fair enough, although you would think Sal Zaino would understand and use the correct terminology.

Well, I definitely wouldn't go as far as to say that Sal doesn't understand. He knows more about detailing than you and i will ever know. He has a reason for calling his products "polishes" and he even explained it to me once (it has something to do with how they are designed). However, I was too young in my detailing comprehension to understand or remember. The best way to find out why he uses the terminology that he uses is to talk to him. He makes himself very accessible.
