Under the hood cleaning Question
 

My engine compartment is pretty dusty. what product and procedures should i use to clean what's under the hood. I'm tempted to spray that bad boy with a hose lol but idk if that's a good idea or not

im not too fond of spraying liquids in the engine bay because of all the electronics. i use a MF towel and spray QD into it and wipe off. if it's just dry dust i take a dry MF and remove the dust.

if there's a lot of greasy grime that needs work than just your towel and QD, i use a 50/50 mix of simple green/water and spray that into the towel and use it to rub and clean.

some folks mask off all the electronics and use steam cleaners, pressure washers that's also very effective.

for hoses and plastics i use Prima Nero/Aerospace303 water based dressing.
