I use the same soap I wash the car with. You need to keep in mind that the Silver finish is only paint. If you use something aggressive the Silver will start to rub off. Mild soap with a soft sponge, and a microfiber towel to dry, and you should be fine.

Same as Trip. Same soap as car, but I use Wheel Wax on them after. The stuff smells edible.

car shampoo for me too... with a boar's hair brush.

i use spray sealant (Prima Hydro) on the wheels so easy to wash off with very little effort.

For the mostpart soap/water is the safest way to go... always use the least aggressive method needed to get the job done.

On the occasion you need some more cleaning power our Green Wheel Cleaner and a Boars Hair wheel brush really will knock out some NASTY dirt and grime without harming delicate wheel finishes.

take a look at some shots of Sonax Full Effect Wheel Cleaner in action

These dirty Audi Q7 S-Line wheels (about 1 month of brake dust) were cleaned with Sonax Full Effect Wheel Cleaner (no brushes where used, just a pressure washer and the wheel cleaner). The tires were cleaned up with Adam's APC. After the rims and tires where dry, we applied Prima Nero on the tires for a satin finish. Prima Wheel Armour to them for a durable finish and nice shine.

Wheels were extremely caked up with brake dust

Sonax Full Effect Wheel Cleaner in action!

Adam's All Purpose Cleaner does a very effective job of cleaning all the grime off the tires, readying them for dressing.

Clean wheels and tires

Prima Nero and Wheel Armour to finish them up.

Final results look impressive!

The products used above are listed below.

I've been using Adam's All-Purpose Cleaner (50/50 water) & soft brushed (with soapy water).

i wash my wheels after my car is done, mainly bc i dont have a covered area to wash it, and i dont want it to waterspot.

i use a quick detail spray ( there are many brands....i use meguires) and hit the wheels with it, and use a micro fiber cloth to wip em down. works excellent!
