Cleaning door handles

What's the best/safest method to clean the door handles? Mine have started to develop waterspots and just washing isn't getting them totally clean. Thanks.

You can use any cleaner wax or cleanser such as Meguiar's Deep Crystal Paint cleanser. Just avoid using any abrasive products and you will be fine.

x2 just use a cleaner wax.

Between waxes/cleanings, use a detail spray to keep them clean. Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Deatiler (UQD) works well for me. No smearing, nothing... leaves them clean as a whistle.

Just used cleaner wax and it worked perfectly. I followed it up with a coat of wax and the handles look perfect and feel super smooth. Thanks for the help.

Glad it worked for you, keeping it regularly waxed will help prevent water spots from forming again so it is a win-win.

BUMP! The cleaner wax worked great! I can't remember ever reading a post on these boards that worked as promised like this one did. Thanks a million.
