cleaning titanium exhausts
Somehow managed to put a scratch on my amuse exhaust, whether it was me or the body shop I have no idea (and it's all water under the bridge now anyway). I wouldn't have minded and just polished it off on the normal titanium area, but they managed to land it right on the gradation area
So I realize some of the oxidation will probably never return, but I'm wondering if there is any polish of some sort I might be able to use to at least reduce the noticeability of the scratch. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. I will have pictures this weekend when I get the car back.

DO NOT polish the blue tip area- it will get rid of the blue along with the scratch as it's burned onto the surface. Rubbing or polishing compound is probably not the best idea to do either.
The best thing I can probably suggest is to wait until it cools down and use soap and water to clean it and use a cotton towel to see if it buffs out. Windex and WD-40 also works- just make sure you clean/rinse it off thoroughly afterwards and before you turn on the car. |

How the hell are you going to show up at the Fontana Meet 2 like that? You're screwed dude.
You can always make a matching scratch on the other tip and say it's factory.
