Interior detailing

Hey guys, got a few questions.
Never had a suede interior and seats like this.
I was wondering, IF my door panel/seats get dirty
-what can I do?
-Is there a cleaning product for suede?
I don't even know what my seats are... half suede and? ....
Trying to learn and really keep the car clean. Want to try new things.

A tip to finish off the sued is to lightly brush it in one direction with a dry, folded microfiber towel. It leaves it looking like it just came out of the salon!

To de-dust the dash/guage/area, use a swifter. The handle that come with them is the perfect length to work with too.

And just a reminder; do NOT use window cleaner on the rear view mirror, or you could damage the sensor for the auto dimmer. See owners manual for verification.

What is the center console made of in the new 370 z. Seude, leather?? What can I use to remove finger prints from this fabric?

I usually just crack my window and put the hose in for about 10 minutes and than open the door. Works every time and when all done everything is clean inside.

I wonder if that 3M fabric guard would do any good for keeping it from getting dirty/stained?

Avoid any cleaners or moisture really. Alcantara is a pain to clean/maintain. Best advice I can give - DON'T GET IT DIRTY IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Had it on the seats of my 06 TBSS and it hates cleaners. Best method I've been able to devise is a spray bottle with some woolite, mist onto a microfiber towel and blot at any dirt.

I used an amonia free glass cleaner on it. Is that bad?

Unfortunately, you can't help it since ou grab the door handle everytime you enter and leave the car (always when leaving)... and the door handle has that suede/Alcantara on it!

I think i'll try that 3M fabric guard you spray on since it appears there is very little you can do to clean it after it gets dirty. I suppose it's more of a preventative method rather than corrective one.

I've gotten into the habit of pulling the door lever and pushing out on the plastic part at the bottom of the door. It's kind of stupid, but better than wearing on the (badly placed) material around the handle. Pulling the door shut is easy to do without touching the fabric. I feel like a maniac telling any passengers how they need to get in and out, but hey....I want to keep this ride as nice as possible.

lol... Its funny you say that Soygen. I left the plastic shipping wrap (just the part that goes around the handle) on so that I had some place to push the door open without touching the door handle lol.

Immediately after buying the car my gal got me a preventative treatment spray called Vectra from the local shoe repair. I have the light grey leather interior, and so far so good.
