Thanks Junkman! Car looks flawless even in direct sunlight. Was worth the time I spent on the car to get it like that! I also ordered Adam's Americana Premium Paste

I also ordered Adam's Americana Premium Paste wax. From what I hear, placing this on top of the Machine Superwax should really add depth to my Magnetic Black Cant wait for it to come in! |

Remember, THIN COATS and you want to wipe the car down with detail spray between coats. If you gob it on, your shine will get cloudy and streaky. Good job!

Think of it this way. Does car insurance make your car look any different? No, but it will protect you from any kind of damage that may occur, just as wax protects your car from various types of damage that may fall from the sky (be it bird droppings to UV damage). Insurance protects you and your car, but it does absolutely nothing to enhance it's appearance. Wax is almost exactly the same, with the subtle difference being the fillers in a sealant and the depth that carnuba paste waxes provide. The bottom line, wax is a protectant, not a shine agent.

The Adam's website should re-word their write-up for the Americana Paste wax then! lol
"Similar grade waxes are selling for $100, $175 even $1,500, but none of them will out-shine Adam’s Americana. We back that claim with a 110% money back guarantee." I guess it should read, "Similar grade waxes are selling for $100, $175 even $1,500, but none of them will out-protect Adam’s Americana. We back that claim with a 110% money back guarantee?" |

Americana does add depth to your shine and most people who don't know would consider that as being "more shiny".

depth to the shine/more shiny? Both sound good to me! Im really hoping to see a difference between Adam's Super Machine Wax and Adam's Americana Paste Wax.

MSW is more of a sealant with the ability to hide minor imperfections. Americana is carnuba paste which because of its consistency, explains how it gives depth to the shine.

On the exhaust tips yes, the stock wheels I'm having a hard time determining the finish. 90% of factory wheels now are clear coated so if they fall into that category then no, you'd use the same polishes you use on the rest of the car to polish the wheels.

So the Metal Polish in combination with the exhaust temps won't have a negative effect?
I'm looking to keep these puppies looking shiny.

There isn't a combination to be afraid of as metal polish doesn't leave anything behind to "react" to heat. Now keep in mind as the exhaust discolors metal polish will not remove that. Metal polish is only good for removing light scratches, surface contamination, oxidation, etc. Once the exhaust 'blues' polishing will not remove that.
