Adams polishes is well worth the wait. Everything i got was top notch. After a lot of work with the pc my car is now swirless and showcar ready smells good also. Adams polishes destroys all of its competiotion. The stuff u get at target (you know the one im talking about) doesnt hold a candle to adams. Thanks again adams!

I tried Adam's products (the works!) on my dad's car and now he refuses to drive it because it's so shiney and new and smells great, just like the first day he got it!

Don't do a great job, if you don't want this to happen to you lol

You lucky bastard!! I was at Stillens open house event when they rolled a Z out onto the dyno with the kit on it and holy hell was that impressive!!

LMAO, I have to admit there are times I avoid driving after a detail b/c I just enjoy the smell of it sitting in the garage and don't want it to go away.

I finally was able to use the P/C kit with the three waxes and detail spray today. I usually dont post on forums, but I have to say thanks to Adams. I was very impressed. The P/C with the waxes was able to get out a couple of scratches that were on my Z when I bought it. My first time using the P/C, it was very easy. I bought more products today for my tires and interior.

I would post a picture but the picture gets rejected due to its size.

THANKS...

Matt

finally finished the car using swirl removal. I think i've become a perfectionist because now that the swirls are gone, i still notice some fine lines here and there.... vary sparse though, but cant seem to get those things out! I think I put them on there with the claybar!

Do you think i'll need the yellow focus pad to remove? bothers me now that i notice every imperfection! lol I even spent time just on those certain areas with those lines and still cant get them out.... i've been at 5000 opi on the PC trying to get them out.

who knows, maybe if i go to the fine machine polish, it'll remove those remaining "lines" in the clear coat.

Wait, so you just did Swirl & Haze and didn't do the fine machine polish step yet? The process is designed as a 2 step correction, so you've only completed part one of 2.

No i didnt do the fine machine polish yet! I wanted to get the car near perfect before I used the fine machine polish because why would I leave swirls in there that couldnt be taken out with the swirl remover and orange pad, then go to the fine machine polish, only to find the swirls would still be there because its a less invasive method.

Should I have used teh swirl remover and then immediately over top of it, use the fine machine polish???

Basically, what i was doing was do a small section (like it says)... wipe it off... take a light to the area i just did to see if all the swirls/scratches were removed... if not, i do the area again till im happy with it (which usually means 100% swirl free)... but if i have to do the area three times, i give up lol... and move on. There's usually one thin scratch that i'd have to leave behind.

No joke, it took me 3+ hrs with just swirl remover to get the car near perfect... and will probably spend 20 more minutes on a section of the hood that has maybe 3-4 scratches in the clear coat.

I plan on doing the machine polish tonight for a couple hours... i'll let you know how it turns out!

the fine scratches (not many, as i've mentioned before) were bothering me so spent another 1hr+ tonight getting the majority of them out. I was getting annoyed so I turned up the PC to max (6000 opi) and went over the scratches again. Process was alot faster and had better results.

For the really tough scratches, at one point, just applied pressure to a single area where the scratch was. Stupid thing will just not come out! Anyways, there's maybe 3/4 scratches that i've given up on.

I did manage to finish the hood (and the hood only) tonight with the fine machine polish. Will try to finish the rest tommorow. lol

You're misunderstanding the purpose of each product a little. Fine machine polish and Swirl & Haze remover are both polishes... SHR being more aggressive. The paint will never look flawless after SHR... its more aggressive and beats up the paint a little so inspection after that step should be for larger defects, it will introduce marring and issues of its own, thats why its not a finishing polish.

Once you are only left with fine marks and marring you should move to the Fine Machine Polish Step as that is designed to take out the fine marks and the 'damage' left behind by the SHR steps.

After the fine machine polish on my hood, there are still three fine scratches on my hood. a couple of lines and one "j" hook scratch. I suppose i'll just have to live with it.

I'll be doing the rest of the car with the fine machine polish today.

I wish I could take a picture of these scratches, but unfortunately, I don't think they'll show up on camera.

The Machine Superwax will help conceal them if they are faint enough.
