I did not see a thread on this. If anyone has suggestions for proper procedure or best chemicals to use in cleaning the engine bay; it's appreciated.

I use a mix of megs APC+ to degrease the bay andvariouse aize brushes and older microfiber towels And use megs M40 trim protection or 303 aero protectant on all plastic ad rubber parts.

I have a question, before you spray it down with water, can someone give me a list of things that are electrical in the engine so i dont damage it.

Unless you've modified the factory wiring harness don't worry about electrical. A modern engine bay is very resistant to water intrusion. Just cover any open element filters and your alternator. Other than that you'll be fine.
