Two spots of hail damage on passenger rear quarter panel: how will it affect a wrap?
Hello! So as the title states, I got a bit of hail damage about a year ago and there are two spots that damaged/dented the paint. I'm planning on getting my car wrapped and I was wondering if there's something I could do to fix it? I'd hate for those imperfections to ruin the look I'm after.

Look for a body shop that does Paintless Dent Repair (PDR).
|
You can do that, or get your own PDR unit off amazon for around $40.
I paid $80 per ding (x4) after an Incident with acorns in my driveway.. Bought a PDR kit on amazon, and have fixed 3 more since. quick and painless. |
Hey guys, here's a pic of it. I thought there were two spots but I could only find one. It's started to rust but it's not very deep, but there's definitely a little imprint. Do you still think PDR is the best option?

There are many colors within the rainbow so does it match perfectly with the color YOU have? I have no idea. I paint my own car so I always have the exact color I need. However, if you are going for perfection, the only choice you have is an advanced solution and if you have never SUCCESSFULLY used touch-up paint, this will be overkill for you. You have to be GOOOOOOD to use this stuff.

Thanks, yeah I'll definitely go with Dr. Colorchip then :) Thanks for the help guys!

Get dents repaired first before you wrap your Z. The wrap will make it more noticeable. Most body shops don't offer PDR. They are a "middle man" between customer and PDR techs who work as freelancers.
Best way to find the good PDR guy is by googling. Read the reviews |
