Best wax for color brilliant silver
For those of us with a 370Z with exterior color brilliant silver wonder what is a very good wax to use on the color silver? I am looking for a wax that is durable and lasts as well as easy to apply and remove? What waxes do you recommend for the color silver? Brands? Ideas?

I used the basic Meguires purchased from Walmart- only polished whole car 2x as the car wash soap is excellent. And occasionally used “goof off” to remove tar spots from all of the road destruction going on in Southeast. Polish is very easily applied & removed.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...567aa74fbb.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...2c7433b5cf.jpg Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
Polish brings the shine, but needs to be covered with a wax to protect that shine.. colored waxes, IMHO are snake oil.
My favorite wax thus far.. P21s Goes on like hot butter, comes off just as easy. |
Living in the South; we’re fortunate that highway department doesn’t use harsh chemicals or salt on roads.....a lot easier to maintain shine on car + with the newer paint used by mfg’s also makes it easier.
Now for the “Bullseye” embedded on the front nose (calling all rocks & bugs) is a whole different topic. :) |

No I do not work for Zanio. |
You shouldn't need a specific color wax based on your veh color. When I had a silver car, I used the same products that I now use on my red one. Meguiars professional line mainly out of preference. I like the spray wax as maintenance at the end of the wash and the synthetic sealant to finish off a polish.

After a good wash with Meguiars crystal car wash I am going to use Meguiars NXT wax should turn out great.
