DMA's Detail Thread
I decided to try and keep my audio log and detail log separate. Below is a link to the original audio log listed Here.
This thread is about the detailing portion of work I've done (Starting in 2018, I've a lot of back logged projects in the thread above. Today's is a 2002 Chevy Avalanche. This customer inherited this truck with little less than 70k on the clock. The overall condition of the truck was about a 7/10 with massive scratches along the hood from snow removal through the years. They wanted it fully detailed and protected from the elements. After discussions through the options, we went with Gyeon Q2 Pure. This outstanding water repelling properties, as well as repelling dirt from sticking. This coating should last upwards of 2 years with proper maintenance. The fallowing tools were used Flex/Rupes polisher with Meguiars 5 inch pads Blue tape for protecting the plastics Meguiars 85 Menzerna 400 Gyeon Tar remover Gyeon Prep Gyeon Q2 Pure Gyeon One Ammo NYC Moose Ammo NYC Brute wheel Soap Ammo NYC Shag carpet shampoo Sonax Full Effects wheel cleaner Enzeitte Deep Plastic Cleaner Adams Glass cleaner Nanolex Tire and Rubber restorer All purpose cleaner Before photos

Two weeks ago I was contacted by a long time customer of mine. He just purchased a new Accord back in January. I hoped to get to it earlier in the year but had to wait for the weather to break. Full correction was done on the pain, wheels were decontaminated as well as the wheel wells. Interior was treated to resist staining. Below are the products I used.
Gyeon Rim Sonax Final Finish Gyeon Tar Remover Gyeon MOHS Q2 Carbon Collective Satin Rupes and PC polishers Chemical Guys Undercarriage spray Gyeon Fabric Coat AMMO Brute wheel cleaner Sonax Wheel Cleaner Daddy don't you have a detail today?  Wheel wells were flushed, coated, and conditioned to resist further rust.    Wheels were cleaned inside and out, than coated with Gyeon Rim fallowed by a quick coat of Sonax Net sheild

Been busy with a lot of cars both audio and detailing. But here is one of my favorites this fall. a 2018 WRX STI, new car prep took 3 days and received 3 coats of ceramic coating along with 2 coats on wheels.
