Anyone try Meguiars Mincrofiber Dry Towel

Ordered a couple of these towels today. The current towels I have suck, I have to go through at least 3 of them to dry my car off. I hope these ones work good! Anyone try these? https://www.amazon.com/Meguiars-X200.../dp/B0009IQZFM

All of my Meguiar's towels are in the trash or relegated to dirty work like engine bay or exhaust. I pretty much only use these Rag Company towels when I touch the paint. I usually grab a bunch of them when they go on sale, often for <$4 apiece.

Pfluffle Towels - like a waffle weave but better

Eagle Edgeless Towels

The rag company towels are the best. I use different color towels for the many different applications.

I have those Meguiar's water magnet towels and they actually work quite well. To dry the entire Z you'll need at least 2 but 3 would be perfect. I haven't found a drying towels that work well and don't leave lent behind, these are the best I have personally used.

Never touch your paint with a towel that leaves anything behind :ugh: Pretty much any towel you buy in an auto parts store is not worthy.

I've got several Adam's Great White towels. They are great for picking up the excess water where it pools in various spots, but I don't touch my paint even with them any more.

Junkman recommends that you touch the paint as little as possible, which includes drying with towels. I started with a $30 leaf blower from my local hardware store, and now I'm on my descent into the rabbit hole purchasing MetroVac products.

The Meguiars towels do not leave anything behind. I am very picky about what I use on this car. I would never use a regular towel on this car. I have tried air drying with compressed air but it seemed hopeless and I was using my shops large air compressor. I tried that before deciding to try the Meguiars towels. I have been happy with them so far.

Leaf blower for me. I remove the hose sprayer during the final rinse which helps to push off most of the water.

Guess ill give the leaf blower a try and see how it does. I am all for not having to dry by hand.

My recommendation is to look for the best combination of high air flow and lightweight. Some of the higher air flow ones are quite heavy. I think I picked up a 6 or 7 lb Black & Decker that was reasonably effective for the $35 or so I spent.

Got these towels in yesterday. Next time I wash my car I'll see how these work and I'll post up my review. This towel has nothing but great things said about it.

I use those Water Magnet towels for windows. Perfect size and density for that job. I like Rag Company "Dry Me A River" for car drying. I use a QD as a drying agent, always.
