The best thing I've found for cleaning that filmy build-up off of a windshield interior is vodka. As a matter of fact, it's the best thing I've found for cleaning the outside glass as well. I just wet one MF towel with it, add a little elbow grease, and dry with a second MF cloth. Then I take two big swigs right out of the bottle and admire my work.

Isn't that pretty much like cleaning with alcohol? As a matter of fact, that is literally cleaning with alcohol. Which on a side note, baffles me why people drink that stuff.

I tried it one time back in the 80's. The things that my wife claimed that I was doing when she walked through the door made me vow to never trying it again. To this day, I don't remember none of it but Bill Murray would have been proud.
