I own this vac and I know that the motor has its own filter. I now know that you do not have the mental capacity to understand all this since all you can do is resort to name calling. Have a good day.
I copped an attitued first? Please ... I was just clarifying a simple fact that you misstated in your OP. And IF you'll actually read, I did not straight up call you a moron in my third post. I said *IF*... So if you think I called you a moron, then it is you who is lacking understanding.

I can't help it if you took exception to being called out. This shop vac does not appear to be anything special. If you'd care to share a model number I'll be happy to do additional research and prove you're wrong. At this point, I cannot find any shop vacs out there that filters the blower function as you so claim (certainly none available at Wally World).

I just have one more question, though I hope my insults do not get in the way of your reading comprehension this time

You say that the "motor" has a filter. This is different from a cartridge filter or an exhaust filter?

wait...............why would you need a blower to clean/detail your car?

also even if it's blowing through the filter there's still little bits of stuff in the hose that could scratch the paint and whatnot.

PaulyZ

If you can't handle answering a few questions for clarification, take yourself back to my350z.com or whatever place you came from. You went 'full retard' in your responses, instead of answering simple questions. You never go 'full retard'.

[QUOTE=JARblue;3431151]First, you said the filter isn't part of the blower. Then you say the blower has a separate filter. Which is it?

This is where it started. I was answering questions. Lol I didn't go full retard. Like I said I was just putting it out there if people didn't want to spend hundreds on a blower. I will take pictures of the vac, filters, and blower when I get home. And btw, you don't use the hose that you vacuum with to blow dry the car. This vac come with separate attachments for the blower part.

seems that the pic you used only shows one hose so how is it different?

also again what are you using the blowing operation for? i can't think of any good reason for that function and possible damage.

The motor on the top detaches and you take the discharge diffuser off and attach another tube to it. You use the blower to dry the car so that you don't touch it with towels. That's where you get swirls and scratches from.

a good towel seems to be easier.

also i use a shopvac as well to get the water out of the taillights, mirrors, door handles but just use the longer tip, vacuum function, and put your finger between them as a guide. works like a charm and no possible damage. unless you got some gnarly fingernails lol

Yeah I just used mine this past weekend and it was great. It's nice to get all the water behind the badges, door handles, and such. I didn't need to use a towel on the car at all. The Titan however, that's a lot of vehicle. Lol but even then, I just had to blot dry after using the blower.
