I'm looking to start detailing a few cars. I've done some research and the porter cable seems like the most logical. I could spend the money and get a good one but if I suck or ruin some paint (I've never done this before) id rather not have a 300-500 dollar machine sitting in my closet. Sound logical? Also looking on Amazon they have a kit. Link at the bottom. Will I need anything else with this kit, other than compounds? I'm looking a chemical guys v32-38 for compounds? Anyone have experience with this? Also the hex pads that come with the kit are good?
