Shading differences at the match margin at different, especially low, light angles is more often due to the clear coat, or even the wax layer, than it is the actual paint itself. Just lack of orange peeling in a body shot paint job will do that. I wouldn't worry about that until I'd had a chance to buff the whole body panel down, wax it, and give it a little time. Having said that, they shouldn't be blending on a body panel IMHO, especially the hood, which will be most susceptible and visible to light reflection. They should be repainting the entire panel.
