Have not heard about that specific product but to be honest with you, I would not even think about using it. Ever.

I watched a serious automotive show, and they had a story on this product. Invented by a Canadian (not that nationality matters) and a chemist PhD friend of his. They had what sounded like some good science behind it. It is very new and I never said I wanted to use it. Just doing research and see if anybody else heard of it. From what they were saying it is not like any other dry wash products out there.

Calgary has a bylaw against washing cars in driveways with any soap and water conservation is never a bad idea.

Unless you get the dirt off the paint first, any "dry" cleaning process is likely to leave scratches. In my experience, they are great for light touchups but not something you want to use to actually clean your paint. YMMV

If you guys bother to watch the video on the website, the product claims to "lift" dirt off. It seems to foam after spraying so maybe it does what it claims.

Searched on the autogeeks forum and not coming up with anything. People talking about it way back in 2013, no one willing to try it though.

Found this video about, take it with a grain of salt, the resolution isn't great and it's just one time. Who knows if it will introduce more swirls with extended use. I don't like that he had a scrub with a dry micro fiber on some areas.

Car washes.

Some people still wash their cars in driveways, but you could get a ticket if a neighbor complains.

I think he was scrubbing the bugs off. I would never use this stuff if the car was this dirty.

Oh, I've got it now.....car washes don't waste any water.
So, the city get kickbacks from the car wash owners?
What a crappy bylaw. That's insane, but you sure must have some real nice car washes.

Even if it lifts all the dirt from the paint, the dirt is just going onto the cloth and getting ground back into the paint.
