Mod Friendly Dealership - GTA
 

I know there are many pages about Modifications and voiding your Warranty, but this is slightly different. Heres my situation:

-Would like to add Springs/Intake/Exhaust. (Probably Stillen)
-Still have 1 year Warranty and debating to extend it or not (would love advice or experiences)
-Was told by 1 dealership (Sherway) that the mods listed would void warranty, unless they installed them (I know thats not 100% the case)


I was looking to find either a dealership around the GTA that is Mod friendly where I can have this discussion again with them to make sure if someone else or myself does the work, that my warranty is still ok. Or does anybody know of any dealerships in the GTA that can complete these Mods at a decent rate? I've been trying to get an estimate from Sherway but they arent very helpful.

They take great care of my car when it's there. Shouldn't be a problem with your mods. They still would have to prove your mods caused failure in order to deny you warranty.

springs intake and exhaust do not void warranty at all.

I agree. It was my experience that they would pay if it was obviously not the mod that was to blame

the only reason they're saying anything is that they're trying to get you to pay for thier labour which is WAY overpriced. you can technically install intakes exhaust and springs on your own driveway with a jack
