Radride's RAD Ride

So I got the car home from Calgary last week and while I was down there, I picked up my Swift springs that I had ordered a month ago. Got it home and parked it for a week. Fast forward to this weekend, I installed the Swift springs. I can't believe how little ground clearance there is once lowered. I'm going to have to buy a low profile jack.

I also enlisted a company to come to my house and take the TPMS sensors out of my stock wheels. I need them for my WORK wheels that are coming at the end of May. Its kind of nice not having to take the 4 wheels off and take them into a wheel shop to get them to take them out. I was quoted $180 at the shop. These guys came to my house and did it for $110; on a Saturday!!!

Anyways, here's some pics:

My first look at her:

All loaded up for the trip up to Edmonton:

Lowered on Swift springs and after a quick bath:

My son's seal of approval:

Alignment, wheels/tires and clutch are next on the list. Then forced induction. I'll update this thread once the wheels and tires are installed.

Thanks. Drove it for the first time today and I have to say its pretty quick. Its nice not having to wait 5000rpms before the power comes on like my supra did. Now to install the turbo kit and have some serious fun with this car.

Congrats Rad! Can't wait to see it! I was thinking the same thing with my 40th in regards to ground clearance, can't imagine how low it is with the swifts!

I can't believe how many looks the car gets on the road. I thought this car would blend in with the others but to my surprise, I get the same amount of looks if not more than when I had my LHD supra. My wife kept saying, these guys are checking out your car. They haven't seen anything yet!!! Can't wait for my wheels to show up.

Updates on mods:

-getting my alignment this Wednesday
-Getting the car power polished by my polisher on Saturday. I'll take before and after pics of the paint.

Its all coming together now. The following is wheel porn and should be viewed with caution:

Who likes meat? I do!! How about some 325's on the rear:

As you can see the fitment is spot on. Took me a while to get these offset just right. The wheel sizes are 20x9.5" front with a 265 and 20x12" rear with a 325. Both tires are Michelin Pilot Super Sports.

The fronts are +20 T disk. I know that you will look the wheels up and it won't show that size and fitment. I had WORK do some custom milling on the wheels and they took a +17 and milled off 3mm on the front giving me a +20 offset which in my opinion is perfect.

The rears are +26 A disk on the rear.

I drove the car to work today and no rubbing what so ever.
