Canadians - Where did you get your Z?
Hi Everyone
I was just curious to know where you picked up your car? From a Nissan dealership? From a used car dealer? Kijiji? Autotrader? Friend Selling? Auction? Other? I have been trying to sell my Nissan 370Z (with warranty) in the GTA with no luck, and would really appreciate the help to figure out where folks would be looking and if there was any other information that would help? I have posted my car for sale on this forum as well at the link below: Toronto - Nissan 370z - 45k KM - AT: $27,800 with full warranty until Aug 2016 Any insight would really help - thanks in advance everyone! |

I think you have two options lower your price or be patient. There really isn't a huge market for these cars.
Comparing your price to others on autotrader you are similarly priced to the dealers, when private selling you have to expect to get less. I just bought mine a couple of months ago I found the pricing to be way to high on most cars and i didn't buy until I found something close to reasonable. At $27K for a 2009 base model you are competing against 2010 sport models with Nav for $30k not a stretch for most people. |

As discussed in another thread selling a higher valued vehicle especially a niche vehicle is not easy. Things like financing and trade in are a lot easier through the dealer. In addition the price can be an issue, the black book on your vehicle is around $21000 so a dealer could sell for about $ 23-24000 so you may have to take a bit less than the dealer. Not sure if the like below works, if not just google Canadian blackbook for the site
Cheers Black Book Car Values, your Trade-In Value for 2009 Nissan 370Z Touring 2D Coupe. What's your car worth? |
