Anyone in Canada thinking of selling their Z?

I'd sell, but I'm far from stock.

I appreciate that. The reason why I want a stockish car because we all have our different tastes when it comes to modding. In your case, the only mod I would be interested in is the turbo kit and lowering springs. Everything else would have to be stock.

Selling a modded car is tough and you only get around 30% back on your mods not including labour. So if you have Sasha's kit ($7000) plus lowering springs ($250), you'll only get around $2500 back when you sell your car. Right now the average car is listed for $28000 and will probably sell for $26000; add your 2500 and you have a 28500 car. It sucks I know. I've been modding cars probably a lot longer than most of you and I always take a bath.

That's just the reality.

Like you I'm no spring chicken. I've been building/modding cars longer than most of these guys have been able to walk. I usually don't brag about it.

Lets just say I bought my car at the right time. It was basically new with 6000 miles. I could turn my car back to stock right now and make money on it. And that's after 2 years of ownership.

My point was, anything is for sale. Whether or not someone is willing to pay the price is a different story.

Lastly, You should look at the going rate for used forced induction kits. I believe the BP turbo kit would fetch a lot more than $2500 used. I'm sure other would agree.

Anyhow, good luck with your search. You'll find what you're looking for just like I did.

Let us know how you make out.

That will always hold true if the owner wants to part out his car and return it to stock. One will always yeild the most money doing it that way. But some owners don't have the time or the resources and just want to sell it as is.

The other thing I wanted to ask is, the interior color of the white one is very light. How hard is it to keep clean? I'm a little scared of a light colored interior.

be patient and wait to find one with a black interior, black is more fitting IMO the frost looks a little weird
