Do you happen to know what the best method of selling a car is? I tried everything from craigslist to autotrader to Kijiji and no luck. I just financed it 2 months ago and now having buyer's remorse... Don't get me wrong, the car is awesome and crosses off my checklist in terms of what I am looking for in a car EXCEPT payments. I am thinking I need to go for a car that's more in the 20s for now as I just recently graduated and started working full-time.
Any pieces of advise would be appreciated. Thank you, |

Well, take it from me, this car will be hard to sell. You'll have to drop your price considerably. I had to. And wait. Summer is coming, so you might gain some interest there. Kijiji and autotrader are ok. And on here.
Good luck.

As a buyer and seller of cars, here is my opinion.
Cars that cost over 30K are a problem to sell because: 1. Getting a loan on the used car from the bank usually costs more than a new car due to the interest rates. Most people will pay the same monthly on a used car vs a new car straight from the dealer with no KM's on it. 2. Most buyers for that kind of money would like to buy from a dealer, even though its costs more, because they feel more secure if something goes sideways on the car and it turns into a lemon. Plus they get better rates for financing. 3. Guys that have 30k cash sitting around would rather buy a brand new car such as a GTR or any other high end car by putting that 30k down to lower the payment. So in short, unless someone has the cash or line of credit ready to go, the cars in this price range are hard to move. R.K. |

That may difficult to sell until u bang off a year of payments
Have u tried listing it as simply "take over the payments"???

to bad you didn't realize this before the 30 days was up, you could have returned it if it was in the first 30 days.
you could always look into trading the Z in at a dealership for something more suitable

So here's an update:
I finally picked up the car. The car is a 2010 40th Anniversary car, one owner, fully loaded including Nav with on 24000km on it. Build number is 12. I got it for a great price. Now the moding begins. I have Swift springs ready to install. I have rear camber arms coming next week. Mid may, my custom wheels will be in town and ready to be installed. After that, clutch and flywheel to handle Sasha's single turbo kit. That's all I'm going to be doing to this car. 500-550rwhp will be more than enough (for now LOL). R.K. |
