Most aftermarket skirts are 2 or 3" lower than stock. I have barely 2" clearance with my skirts. As long as they are mounted 100% proper you're alright. They will rub and get scratched but they won't break off your Z

They have ones where it doesn't fold, but goes straight up and down, or so I thought?

no i mean anything where you can hide your plate is illegal is it not?
i thought it was a huge fine (larger than if you simply didnt have a plate) can anyone clarify?

I did 90% of last year without a front plate, no issues. At the end of the year I made a custom removable bracket, just incase. I would use a Stillen plate relocator if I still had threads for a tow hook.

lots of people have no front plate, the cop would have to be a super d!ck aka toronto cop for it to matter! if you are out side of the GTA I bet no bugs one you in my area lots of cars have no front, all the corvettes, porsches and the one gtr in my area all no front once my bumper gets resprayed mine is coming off to! I just gotta fix the black plastic where the bracket is mounted……

Getting pulled over for no front plate is hit or miss. I bought my 370 from Quebec so no front plate mount. I got a ticket for no front plate within 2 weeks of being back in Ontario. I went to court and won but still it was a hassle.
