370Z as DD in Winnipeg
Anyone drive the 370Z in Winnipeg all year round? I heard Winnipeg winters are hectic. Will it do fine in Winnipeg winters on snow tires? Anyone with experience driving in winters that are as bad as Winnipeg? Thank!

I'd never DD one of these in winter. I lived in Alaska for 3 winters, with a lifted jeep wrangler.. and even then it got sketchy at times. hell, i've gotten sideways in heavy rain in the Z. its not a very good all weather car. buy a 4x4 beater with a heater, that's your best bet

I used my 350z for a couple winters in Ohio. Did pretty decent actually when I had some narrow snow tires on it. If a bigger beater is an option I'd do that instead, but it can be done.

The only time I ever drove mine with snow on the ground, was when I moved it out of my garage to turn it around. Couldn't get back into the garage.... kept slipping into a snowbank. My advice... don't! Not in winter. Now, you'll probably get many responses from people who say I'm a pu$$y who can't drive in winter. No. If you love your car... just say no.

Get some good winter tires like Blizzaks and put some sand bags in the trunk. You should be fine. I drove in 2 winters and the 2nd one I was lowered. Drifting every turn was fun!

just saying. theyre NOT snow cars lol can you do it? of course. is it smart? no. what about when it snows half a foot? what happens when those studded snow tires hit ice? studs, chains, whatever.. you hit ice, youre done. ask me how many cars with studs and snow tires i pulled out of snow banks and even out of their own driveways. it's dangerous, man and I would never put my Z in that situation. not to mention, when you have some moron slide into you at a stop light or parkinglot I'd rather they hit my shitbox 2000 dollar winter car than my 30 thousand dollar sports car
