Can be done but no way in hell I'd drive mine in a Canadian winter except for a few locals in southwestern BC. Get a winter beater.

That area has one of the most mild climates in Canada so ya I would think it would be a lot easier in SW BC. Anywhere else you might as well take the winter tire money fund and buy a winter beater instead IMO

Buy a Crown Vic (ex-cop car) for dirt cheap. You don't need to drive the hell out of it because that's already been done for you.
