What's the diff between the Nismo and stock oil pump?

From what I remember, the gears are hardened metal rather than the sintered metal we get that likes to come un-sintered at high rpm.

I believe it is billet as opposed to cast like the stock piece. Don't know if there is any additional hardening or not but I imagine so.

According to the Nismo Catalog, the part is listed as a "NISMO billet oil pump, VQ37VHR." Part number: 15010-RRZ3C1. So yeah, as far as we know, it's at least a billet machined piece of steel, which should be able to withstand the higher RPM's.
