Sterring Lock Recall - Canada

Just received a letter from Nissan Canada saying they will replace mine in my 2010.

yup, I got mine yesterday

I was just going to pull the fuse but now since I figure they'll but in a new rev D steering lock, I'll just let them do it

It could still fail...but less likely with the newer version

I got mine a few days ago. It say GT-R/370Z though, thought that was funny.

Still waiting here on the east coast. Canada Post may get it to me by the end of the month.

I doubt cars from US will get the letter. that's why I called them up and made and appointment.
Now the car makes a different noise when locking the wheel when you open the door

I'm not even going to bother. I already have the plug-n-play wiring bypass. I don't need these monkeys farting around with my car over something that will inevitably fail again anyways.

Though, I am glad Nissan decided to do something about it.
