How long have you waited for your 370z?

I will start...

116 day...

xiven 07-17-2009 12:13 PM

53 so far. I might have ya beat Yamaha when I finally get mine.

6MT 07-17-2009 12:13 PM

88 days ....Finally here yesterday!!

matt2112 07-17-2009 01:07 PM

IDZRVIT 07-17-2009 02:22 PM

I empathize for you poor lads. I didn't need to order mine it was already allocated to my dealer and sitting in port in Vancouver. 14 days later it was in my driveway. Hope y'all get yours soon.

IDZRVIT: 1st place for the shortest wait; 14 days.

YamahaR6: 1st place for the longest wait; 116 days.

Anyone other challengers?

Zat_Zuma 07-17-2009 02:51 PM

Don't even get me started again ..........

YamahaR6 07-17-2009 02:57 PM

Looks like we have a challenger!

Let's...get...ready...tooooo...rum....ble......

Zat_Zuma 07-17-2009 03:17 PM

We all need to call Nissan help line and complain about the extral long delivery times. Maybe Nissan Japan will get the hint. Better yet, let me find the home and cell phone number of the Western and Eastern Canada Sales Rep and lets pester him ;) If enough of us complain and perhaps refuse delivery unless we receive compensation for unneccesary delays .......... that may get Japan's attention. :stirthepot:

What do you think?

YamahaR6 07-17-2009 03:25 PM

You were right, shouldn't have gotten you started...

This is how I see it...

2 weeks for the order to go through...
4 weeks to make the car...
3 weeks to ship the car to Canada...

The wait should be 2.5 months max and they tell you 3 months; (2 weeks for dealer's insurance).

A better tracking system or maybe NNAnet.com to customer would be a big plus...

But doubt it's going to happen...

EVO_Killer 07-17-2009 06:26 PM

4 weeks almost exactly!

Worth the wait trust me!

FricFrac 07-18-2009 12:06 PM

Amateurs - I had to wait 20 years to get a new Z ;P

IDZRVIT 07-18-2009 03:38 PM

I just got lucky. I wanted a red or black M6. There it was, sitting in Vancouver!!!

takayuki 07-19-2009 07:52 PM

waited 1 day. :)

GMZ 07-19-2009 08:09 PM

I waited from Aug 06 when I traded my 350 for an SUV until June 23 when I just decided to drop by the dealer and test drive one. Drove home with it

jamcro 07-20-2009 03:03 PM

Mar 5 - Jun 10. That's like 97 days

Zat_Zuma 07-20-2009 05:38 PM

April 16 to July 24 99 days and counting :shakes head: pure friggin' torment.........

WoZZer 07-22-2009 07:49 PM

What's going on? Assume you are going to get out before all your mods though. Saw a carbon silver 350 at work today. You know who owns that one?

Yes I do, someone from the dark side. He bought his from Erickson around the same time I bought the Roadster in 07.

AB370Z 07-23-2009 10:48 PM

There's a few of you in Edmonton waiting...if you've ordered that's probably the way it is...but there are some just sitting in Calgary looking for a home!

I was at my dealer, Brasso Nissan in Calgary, today and saw two brand new ones on the lot:
- grey base one with manual and without sport or nav
- grey sport with manual

Salesman also said a red sport with manual was also arriving soon and unaccounted for.

Ok, here's my story:
- Order & deposit placed on May 27th;
- Car was "borned" on June 22 i.e. VIN confirmation.
- Arrived in Vancouver July 12th;
- Left Vancouver by train on July 16th;
- ETA for Montreal "clearing grounds" = July 23rd (that doesn't take car of unloading, transporation delays, cleaning at dealer etc...)
So my bet is that my sales rep will call me on Tuesday August 4th to pick the FairLady...

ETA 70 days...

By this time my list mods will be WAY too big to get that stuff in there by the end of fall

Zat_Zuma 07-24-2009 08:33 AM

LOL .... same problem here. Too many parts to install and not enough time to drive and install them all. Have to make decisions on what to install first and what has to wait till next year.
