if I had a 350 for a winter car and a 370 for a summer car!!! then I'd have a Z year round, even with our crappy wild fluctuating seasons!

You Know What Would Be So Baller?
if I had a 350 for a winter car and a 370 for a summer car!!!
then I'd have a Z year round, even with our crappy wild fluctuating seasons! best idea.. ever how much are the 2003's now? can you possibly find one for like.. 10? anyone here have/had an early year 350? how's the reliability of it? are they holding up well? maintenance costs decent or too high at this point? I'd totally do this but the only thing holding me back is.. I'm poor. Last edited by ShinyBlueZ; 12-07-2012 at 10:43 PM. |

actually yeah that would be a BETTER question.. I wonder what the optimum balance between age, cost, and reliability would be?
and by 'better winter car' what I mean is.. my 370 is so new and shiny and pristine.. I'm pretty sure I wanna keep/collect it. I love keeping my cars. I still have my 1989 Honda Si haha (my current winter beater.. no rust and only 180,000 km!) the combination of horrific snow drivers and stoopid salt water eating at my baby is too gross to fathom. BUT.. if I could find an older Z that's still sexy.. but not so much that I end up stressing out about her.. that'd be perfect. "what's your summer car?" "a Z." "what's your winter beater?" "a different Z." I could finally have that pearl white or midnight black 350 that I wanted all through university! balla. Last edited by ShinyBlueZ; 12-07-2012 at 11:50 PM. |

If it was me, I'd end up not wanting to drive the 350 in the winter either to keep it nice! Lol

but yeah someone mentioned earlier the G37X its pretty much a 370z cept AWD. it feels like a completely different car and its a bit more luxurious inside (which makes those freezing morning drives to work a bit more bearable) |

+1 Cause it makes cents and cents makes dollars and dollars won't be spend pulling a rwd vehicle out of a ditch, hence savings which over times equals wealth!

baller is personal road plowers to protect you and your Z during your daily drives (Bad weather only). In good weather they lag behind and serve as your backup just in case you get into a little situation.

I say f*** the winter ... my 370Z is gonna be a trooper! Life is too short to be driving around a shitty winter beater. I know it will suck driving the Z through all the s*** that winter brings, but for me it would suck even more to drive around a crappy car ... and the thought of having to maintain and insure two cars ... ugh! After I drove the Z for the first time, there was no going back. My Z is in winter mode right now ... tires, wheels, wiper blades, mats, rustproofed, air deflectors removed, and ready for plenty of detailer hand washes with underbody sprays. Luckily here in Toronto we haven't had any snow yet ... our first big snowfall will be this Wednesday, but it's a holiday so the Z can hide in the garage!
