Interesting Experience & Some Pics!
 

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to give a special shout out and thanks to @alcheng

Basically I saw a white 370z parked close to a plaza near my house and noticed it had the Fairlady Z Emblem at the back (and I had just recently purchased one myself).

So I stuck a note on his car saying something along the lines of "nice car -- I got a 370z myself -- do you mind calling me and letting me know how you put the Fairlady Z emblem on"

Anyways... lol... didnt want him to think I was weird or a stalker... but nevertheless I did that anyways and to my surprise he called - we met up and he helped me take my emblem off as well as install my new one.

So not sure if it s a Toronto thing (lol we all nice ppl) - or if its just a 370z respect thing... but I thought it was kinda cool anyways.

Most Z owners, especially 370z owners I've met have been pretty cool. I always wave to other Z drivers.

If you do not need the Z from removed emblem, help this guy out.

most of the car guys ive met have been nice and friendly (despite them being genesis guys) despite them.

the Car community in general (if you get the right people) are real nice car guys that just like to talk shop. :tup:

ive yet to meet with a fellow Z guy or car guy that wasnt friendly.

Hey SIKHRYDE, how are you doing?? I didn't check this section until today and I see this post.

No problem on the help, BTW, did you pick up the McGuiar's wax? Weather has been cold and rainy these couple weeks, I managed to wash the Z last Wednesday then it rained on Friday night.... :shakes head:

Hopefully can do one more water-wash and wax before storing the Z for the Winter.

yo man where'd you get the Z parking sign from? did you order it online? I've been meaning to get one.. but the sign is $20 and the Z store quoted me $30 for shipping to here!

nah dude.. his isn't really all that shiny.

there's only ONE "true" shiny blue Z in the GTA.

you see how non-blue and non-shiny it is, right around where a roof should be? it's more like.. a half-shiny, half-blue Z :icon17:

however, a half-blue Z is still sexier than most of the cars on the road :driving:

not quite, haven't store it yet but I just drop it off at the shop yesterday to have the dealer replace the rag-top and some components because of the rubbing issue.

LOL - yah plates are funny - lots of ppl take photos!

I got the parking sign from the Z Store... yah its $20 and $23.25 for shipping which is dumb... then on top of that when it gets to your door you have to pay another $15 or something for custom duties!!!!

P.S. ShinyBlue - did you put your car away already? We should go for a spin .... and then you can judge in person how shiny that roof really is lol ;)

Yah I was in that plaza again this weekend and didnt see your car! LOL I always park there too beside your spot!

Didnt get that wax yet - probably will wait for the summer now. Although last weekend I was able to drive it with the top off! It was like 20 something on Sunday!!!

BC Z's are better and shinier than Ontario Z's :p
