Has anyone been to this shop? ...
Whitehead Performance I purchased my 370 from Dixie Nissan and my 6000 km service is soon approaching. I've returned there once to have a tire repaired to have a windshield washer fluid issue fixed. Before a service manager played around with some control settings on the dash and fixed the issue, a young guy that does the express service poured windshield washer fluid into the reservoir without even using a funnel ... some of course spilled into the area of the engine bay around the reservoir ... I was not impressed. Last edited by KWZ; 10-26-2012 at 12:51 PM. |

I know a lot of people will do oil changes on their own, but what about all the stuff that has to be inspected? Are we required to have these inspections done at a dealer to satisfy warranty conditions?

I am a Service Advisor at a BMW dealership so I have a tech that I trust there do all my work. Prior to that I found I got better service from my local Infiniti rather hen nissan and I just asked for a tech most familiar with my platform. I got to talk to him a few times and I felt comfortable letting him be the only person to work on my car. I too would like to do everything myself but I live in an apartment and its just a pain in ***. People like to hate on dealerships but the fact is those techs should be most familiar with the details of our cars and you should have a better chance of not getting a turd in the punch bowl there, then anywhere else. So if you are doing it yourself find a dealer and find a good competent advisor and have him recommend a tech for you. But like any establishment not all places and people are created equal. But one persons experience in a certain dealer shouldn't carry to much weight in another . IMO Hope it helps

Check out our site and call or email if you need an appointment. Routine service with genuine nissan parts is one of our specialties. We can provide plenty of references ranging from clients who have stock Zs/Gs to the extreme (blower/turbo installs).
