The only time I really use Sirius is on road trips and cant stand repetitive music over and over. But that is good to know!

How are you handling the winter storage in terms of Battery conservation, flat spots etc?

I will probably be that guy that will take out the car on a nice warm sunny dry day for a spin every now and again. That should take care of flat spots and battery issues.

putting it away? pfff snow plough front mount and good to go for winter. Unfortunately i will be driving mine this winter as well. hopefully for the last time. It is pretty fun in the snow i gota say. You can go 20km/h but be almost completely sideways around corners. It allows you to experiment with controlling a rear wheel drive car in absurd situations.

It'll be in hibernation just before the first snow falls or they drop salt on the roads. Had it out a few times in below 10C temperatures and the engine loves those cooler temps. So far so good in NS. No snow at all yet and the roads did not require salting yet. Lots or rain lately but a nice 17C today. :driving: I'm coming from a motorcycle background so I'm used to storing vehicles and waiting until Spring. It's going to be tough looking at it in the garage all winter but no way in hell I want to drive it in all that salty, slushy, slurry mixture. It's strictly a fair weather toy.

I keep a battery tender junior hooked up to the battery to maintain a float/storage charge. I don't worry about flat spots, I've stored cars much heavier then the z over winter and the flat spots disappear after the first day of driving in the spring.

i put mine away end of month and beeing lowered qite a bit i unfortunately cant take her for a spin on nice sunny winter days cuz we get so much snow in winnipeg and there is no clearence :/
i take battery out and store it inside the house and for flat spots i just roll the car back and forth every couple weeks lol( pretty long garage)

Same this will be the 3rd winter in storing the car, just get a battery tender/buddy and I never had any issues with flat spots. I do also park it inside and covered.

For the battery all you need to do is disconnect it. It will be fine if your only storing it for the winter.

The same can be said for flat spots with today's tires you don't have to worry about flat spots when the car is sitting for 5-6 months. If it wa long term then I would understand the concern but 5-6 months is not really that long.

I have stored my Z every year so far (this being #3 as well) and can say I've had no issues with it come the spring. I can say the same about my old z (z32) I never had a problem and stored that car 3 times while I owned it before getting my 370.

But if you disconnect your battery you have to redo all your settings and if I'm not mistaken on roadsters you have to reprogram your window drop on opening the door. I went with a battery buddy and haven't had to reprogram anything

Beautiful day for driving a sports car today! Temps are right around zero and it's sunny with the winds blowing leaves around. Nice dry roads. I saw a replica General Lee when my wife and I were at Timmies this morning.

Yes it is same for a coupe but honestly it's not a big deal. All you have to do is hold down each window switch to reset that option, it's not hard at all. Only other thing to reset is the clock on the center gauge cluster. Eveything else stays!

My Gauge clock and my nav clock never match either way lol

That irked me so I turned off the clock on the Navi, lol.
