I am thinking between this kit and the ZSpeed HD CSC, wondering how good is the CMAK CSC delete kit?
It was me! not sure if it was you but I remember i let someone go in and try the clutch for himself and he liked the clutch feel and it was a big difference in engagement and smoothness.

I've had a few minor issues with the CMAK CSC nothing mechanical just mainly noise but its gone now, i had clicking noises coming from it when i let the clutch go slowly but i believe its all solved with proper installation, other than that, its amazing.

From what i remember when i had the phone conversation with Joe from zspeed, the main difference between the HD CSC and CMAK is the CMAK puts all that mechanical stuff outside of the housing so its easier for future work, and reduces Master Cylinder wear... also if i remember correctly i may also change the feel of the clutch, in a good way of course, and more so if you pair it with their aftermarket flywheel/pressure plate/clutch etc.. i myself just got a pressure plate and clutch from there with the cmak and its changed it dramatically.. so much easier to shift. if you want to really get a feel for it yourself let me know, we can prob meetup and you can check it out for yourself.. maybe it'll help you make your decision!

arr.... that was you... I think it was Zyonara91 who got into your car to try it.

Yesterday I went to Whitehead to inquire about these stuffs because I can sense the clutch-master-cylinder is acting a bit weird recently...

first it's these squeaking noise coming out from it, then it's the pedal starting to feel a bit weird about the friction point....

anyway, talked to Mike at WH and he's very nice and helpful...

I am going to change the CMC, ZSpeed HD CSC, clutch line..

All together he quotes me $1900... a day and a half job.

I am thinking between the HD CSC or the CMAK kit, it's about $200 more with the CMAK kit....

couldnt of been him since it was the most recent meet we had n he wasnt there i would personally go with cmak but thats me! 1900 is.... quite allot..the shop that did mine charged me 300-500 for labour and they replaced everything.. not to mention the HD CSC will be an easier install compared to cmak, not that cmak was hard..

From the zspeed website
325/ HD CSC
+35/ Insulated Short Stainless Clutch Hose
+98/ New OEM Master Cylinder
= 458 USD = 602 Canadian (roughly)

+300-500 labour at my shop = $1,1100 Canadian.

wow.... 1100 vs 1900....

that's a huge difference.... and 1900 is with the HD CSC.

can you I might ask around with my own mechanic and see how much he will charge me too.

reason why I talk with WH is because of their reputation.

but if the price difference is like 800 bucks...

i will have to look around too...

Yeah, i mean.. you do get what you pay for and WH rep is great but $1,900 sounds a bit much to me tbh... The shop i went to, i know them and they are in the car scene themselves so its a passion for them just as much as it is a job. I've never had an issue.. you can go to them if you cant find cheaper...but im sure you will! Let me know if you need anything else!

by the way, do you recall is the CSC of your Z is located outside of the transmission? I just notice we have the same 2011, and I roughly remember mine is outside the transmission.
