Saw a Red 370z in the Burlington Place Mall parking lot today at 11:30am. Was still there after my workout at 12:45pm. It had a personalized plate, can't recall what it said...

Evolution_GT 04-27-2011 07:32 PM

Spotted a white 370Z w/ full amuse kit and OEM 19" rims parked at the Pizza Nova at bathurst and 16th... seems to be owned by someone who works there

Da.Menace 04-27-2011 08:08 PM

White Nismo 370Z at Mosport DDT sunday. Not sure real Nismo or just with Nismo bodykit coz the license plate suggests he got the car last year.

I did lap the Z, only once tho, at Shannonville private event, coz I'm a n00b and didn't want to track with tons of cars on the road :shakes head:

Harvin370z 04-29-2011 12:25 AM

There is going to be a mini meet this Sat @5pm with some 350z owners at Kennedy Commons Tims. Anyone is welcome to join :)

Was it the pay per lap? Go to the pay per lap days. Good because you lap alone so you get some experience. of course 2 or 3 laps at most is all you can get before hitting limp mode and having to let the car cool down a bit.

Dizzy 04-29-2011 09:09 PM

A double day for me!

Yellow - Burlington - Appbly Line Southbound at Mainway @ 12:45

Silver - Hamilton - Queen Street South crossing King @ 5:30

Does Mosport have something like this?

Jjaden 04-29-2011 09:18 PM

it wasnt pay per lap... bunch of us rented the track for 3 hours, and all you can track lol.

Hmm I didn't hit limp mode yet, but then again I was still easing the car last year and didn't really push hard, plus it was getting cold back then.

So that's why you installed the oil cooler.. I was wondering if I needed one since the climate up here is colder than down in the states.

You must have been really driving like a grandma to avoid limp mode :p Oil temp builds up really quickly in this car. All it takes is 2 or 3 laps at a serious pace for the temp to reach critical levels and limp mode activates. Cooler air doesnt help much because the engine bay is quite airtight so not much airflow goes in. Also the oil is up there inside the engine block completely isolated from airflow anyway.

I admit, I was lol. IIRC the last time I tracked with the Z was when the car only had ~3500KM on it, still trying to run it in, so I was more like cruising instead of tracking lol.

Well I'm suppose to be @ the track this weekend with buddies again, I'll see if I hit limp mode quick this time.

Wondering if I should put in a bigger oil pan along with the oil cooler to have a little bit more oil running.

engine is already pretty low. a bigger oil pan may be vulnerable to getting hit and cracked by rocks on the road

Which track are you guys renting time at? I would love to do a few laps in the Z. Can anyone just bring there car to the track or do you have to do some of there performance driver training first?

Pharmacist 05-04-2011 09:15 PM

Saw a white nismo followed by a white gtr at kennedy and 14th today afternoon. Later in the night i saw a white nismo, probably same guy, at kennedy and steeles.

Da.Menace 05-04-2011 09:37 PM

Just saw a white Nismo also, at bamburg circle.with bride seats. 10:30pm

Hmm... Will see how low it goes after I installed the KW V3s... Maybe I should read up more about it on the forum and see if anyone has problems with it.

Suppose to be Shannonville this sat early afternoon. You could bring your own car and do whatever, no performance driver training needed.

Pharmacist 05-07-2011 08:39 AM

just saw a blue z on the 404 south on my way to work today. was that you da menace?

Jjaden 05-07-2011 01:50 PM

I've seen a Pearl White Z twice on Carlisle road in the last two days. Is it anyone on here?

LOL that was me and yup it's the guy who parks near Markville Mall. Was it just me or that Pontiac G6 deliberately cut you off on the highway.

Yeah I saw a few Z's myself a few black and white ones mostly. Don't worry not as common as Hyundai Genesis.

Hey man I figured that was you going to work, that was me on hwy7. You work every weekend? Thanks man, I got the Greddy's DRL. They aren't that bright, more subtle than Audi's or other aftermarket LEDs.

Pharmacist 05-19-2011 06:18 PM

saw a blue z stuck in traffic in eastbound hwy 7 today afternoon. was that you paskii? what exhaust do you have?

Dizzy 05-19-2011 07:19 PM

Yellow heading north on Applby Line just north of the QEW @ 5:20 today. Had to be a member as he waved with great enthusiasm. I didn't have my windows down and I hope you saw me wave back through my tint!!!
