off topic for GTA but I was in Ottawa in the area this weekend and I saw Elysium on Saturday:hello: I was on the opposite side of the hwy but there's good site just grass in between.

Anyway it was around 3-4 saw the white GTR with CF wing and black hood you where heading westbound on 417 I think it was. I was not in my Z though :shakes head: buddy drove us up in his porsche cayenne. Car looked sick though! next morning on sunday I saw another GTR but it was with a full matte black wrap and it definitely had an exhaust sounded so sexy! But from Friday to Saturday on my stay I only saw one Z, it was a nicely modded blue 350Z.

2 sightings in 1 day!

1) Exactly 4:45pm, getting into the 403 Eastbound, coming out of Oakville - Black.
2) Just after 6:00pm, on little side street West Mall, we drove past each other - Silver.

Awesome.

I saw a black one parked in a residential driveway in Oshawa, and I saw a blue one traveling west bound on the 401 between Courtice and Bowmanville.

Now this you don't see everyday, this is the coolest sighting I've ever had!!!

I have seen maybe 2 white sports previously in 2 years I've had mine. As I'm driving home yesterday (and I live way off the beaten track in the country), what do I see behind me? My car! Followed me for about 10k! A few waves and headlight flashes later and we parted ways! I've seen him once before around these parts but I wasn't in mine when I passed him going the other way. He must be local. Looked like an older dude like me. Pretty freakin cool!

It was really weird but today I saw a 2013 roadster in my neck of the woods! I think it was probably the d!ck that owns the dealership in my city (I go to the next closest one they are 100x better!)

I know you will think it wasn't but it was cause I turned around and followed him, I was first intrigued but the DRL's they were ok I guess but still not fond of the new front!

I haven't actually seen one in person yet Mike, but from the pics, I am relieved! I always worry they are going to tweak the design and do something that makes me go "oh, I gotta have that". I don't care for the new front end, the DRL's or the Rims....and that's about all the changes. Safe for another year!!!

Wonder how much that new fuel gauge would cost me???

There's actually DIY threads showing you how to remove the gauge and you could just paint it yourself:tup:. I have the simota overlay or I would be doing it already to!........actually I would do it over the winter if I had a garage, instead I am stuck with my storage:( I guess thats why I am trying to move to bigger and better house, then the real fun can begin since I will have a whole winter to take it a part with out missing any :driving: time!


The only thing I liked about the new Z when I saw it was that it was in the new blue they offer! I like it IMO I think it looks better darker and more metallic but then again all my cars are or have been dark and metallic.

Hmmm, winter project maybe. Sure was nice to do the back up camera and not lose any road time and just take my time doing it.

I passed a yellow one heading westbound on the 401 between Mavis and Missisauga Rds this morning at around 8:30. I waved, but the driver was off in his own morning world.

If you see a black one with NJ plates, that's me. We're in temp housing on the Hurontario corner... I have to get the DRT done and change over the plates.

dude I've been wanting/trying to make one for so long now! gotta get some info out of you local guys about good places to buy parts, etc.. but they always seem to happen on weekday (esp. Thursday) nights when I'm at work or basketball games :(

tomorrow I'm going to be at a friend's cottage so no cruise for me AGAIN.

When I left for costa rica Monday morning there was a black z parked at the park and fly by Pearson airport!

And I'm currently in an apartment building, so there's only so many times/week I'm willing to go through the touchless wash -- and even then she's just not going to be up to anal retentive standards. I'm sure that if I join the cruise at the end of the month, you won't allow me in the group photo :p

after the dirt road, I would've already had a touchless car wash code ready to go. wash it once before the cruise, then once again immediately after, before we park again.

dude... it's a cruise, it's not a car meet that we all shelter inside a showroom.

Your Z will get dirty anyway if you just drive it on the street, rainy day is even worse than the dirt road.

You get bird poop anytime, that'd even worse than the dirt road... no??

On the last meet, I wash... clay... then wax on that morning, and my Z was all dust up after the cruise…

Never say a word and I love washing it again. It will get dirty anyway, so what the heck...

BTW, forgot to tell you mine is a roadster and I had the top down when cruising on those dusty road....

Cruise/Meet is all about get together and have a good time, you cant worry about getting the Z dirty-up... just wash it after... no biggy.

I'm gonna wash n wax my Z on the 30th morning before the cruise, it will get dirty anyway...

BTW, tell you something, if you say we don't care about our Z... mmm.... I hand wash it once a week, wax it every 2 to 3 week... I store it in Winter but waterless wash it once a week... VentureShield it the 2nd day I got the car.... nuff said?? Still fail?? LOL :tiphat:
