body work
Just curious for the Vancouver/Kelowna area people who have bought the FRP Fenders or amuse body parts what are body shops charging you to have them painted/installed?
Reason I ask been really thinking of ordering the customer fenders and had a quote of anywhere from $700-$1500 to have painted and installed. I was like wow that a wide range but the guy said depending on fitment and how much work is require could even be over the $1500. It has really slowed me down on making any purchases if the shipping and part is $800 ( example only) then just to get them on will be another $1500. |

i got mine done at ak autoworks in burnaby bc. they did a good job. cost me 3000 or 3500 for front and side amuse and patch the 12 holes on the trunk. they are pricy but they stand behind their work and take care of your car.

Hmmm so if it was 3500 for front. side and 12 holes?? I guess in a way it average to $1000/$1500 a pc. I don't have concerns of this body shop here, I know they do really good work just was a little shocked at the 1500 quote, I honest was thinking 1500 for everything...fender/shipping/install but I really didn't know what install/paint costs.
Yeah I spoke to hyunsoo in the past great guy, will wait a few days and see if he see's the thread before I msg him. Thanks for the info guys, still trying to make it out to a Vancouver meet but been having schedule conflits. |

bro look at the great job they did on my car and all that only cost me $900
their prices are very reasonable and their quality of work is great. Also my downtime was only 3 days. They work pretty fast and still do a good job |

they fixed my kit and painted. Sides body color and front lip part body color and middle gloss black. Kevin did my headlights on the side at the same time as they were working on my car |

Will do thanks. I might just give them a call and see what they can quote over the phone. If they need the car for days not only I would have to head there would need the wife to follow to getme back to Kelowna and then once more to get the car. Unless its an amazing deal I will more then likely have it done local when I do it.
