Any pro tuners in Vancouver area?
:driving:
Like the title says, does anyone recommend any tuners for VQ engine in Vancouver area? |
I don't have that answer but I would like to know too.
Hopefully someone chimes in. |
i think monkey nutz racing? is the shop that specializes in VQ engines.
there is always etune ! |
If you don't mind a drive down to Seattle WA there's Intec Racing, they have guys coming from all over to get dyno tuned, both NA and FI

Monkeynutz is currently looking into getting the uprev tune for my G37. I'm guessing it should be the same tune for the 370zs as well. I'll post up when monkeynutz has it ready. intec is the next closet spot. maybe we could just reserve them for the day and we could make a day or weekend trip out of it.

I'm Actually friends with the owner at Intec I could see about gettin you guys some Sort of discount if you could get a couple cars together to roll down
|
Also I'm not sure of the details but I've heard that MNR tunes uprev but isn't an authorized protuner... Not sure of the back story tho

i found that interesting as well. Jurie is a pretty good tuner and alot of ppl use him. i'll talk to the shop this week and find out. good looking out on intec |
The only thing I would caution against is make sure that he's familiar with the VQ37VHR, the tuning got a lot more complicated with VVEL and just because someone's a Good tuner in general doesn't mean they know the in's and out's of 370z/g37 tuning. Big difference between a first/second gen G35 and a brand new 370
