New to the club in the GTA! 2012 pearly white!

Finally traded my 2009 Altima coupe for a real car! So I am welcoming myself to this forum. Welcome. Thanks

A few questions for you in the GTA.

Looking to do K&N Typhooon 69-series intake in the very near future. Where in the GTA is the best place to get? Or where online? Found a site zshop.ca that ships fro Surrey BC. Anyone order from them before? Price is $350 +shipping.

Rather go with a CDN site to avoid UPS and brokage fees. I hate UPS even w/o brokage fees.

Second Q, how do you fit hockey equipment in the car. I've seen a few at the arena so i am guessing it is possible. Maybe its time to man up and scrap the shoulder pads to save some space.

Thanks all! First mods I am looking at is the intake and Stillen CBE.

I'm no help with local sites, I buy everything from the US and ship via USPS or FedEx, rare occasions, UPS.

I have done a lot of business with Jomer at Fred Beans Nissan. He's a forum sponsor (fbnissan) and treats me good with prices, he'll ship USPS if you ask.

I'm sure other Canadians will chime in with local shops.

My Z is also in PW, love the color!! Sometimes I get blinded during a car wash, LOL.

Regarding your Qs, I have installed K&N CAI in my Z too, I purchased it from eBay, the seller shipped vis UPS, so I had to pay some duty, but not much, after all the tax and stuffs, it is still cheaper than buy it in Canada...

Not that I don't want to support our local, but the difference on the price is about $150....

So you know what I mean...

You mention in your post that you can get it for $350+S&H, how much is the S&H? And do you have to pay HST on top of that?? Don't just look at the item price but the ground total, cos that's the final $$$ you have to pay....

Most of the time I ordered stuffs from eBay, as long as it is a trustworthy seller and the price is right, usually it's much cheaper than Canadian retail....

For some seller, you can ask them to ship with USPS, it is very dependable too

anyway, congrats on your ride and GL with you mod, anything you can search in the forum or just ask around in here, ppl in this forum are very very nice...

But, make sure use the "search" button first before you want to start any thread asking something....

Thanks man! Yea I used to mod my 03 tiburon back in the day and would ebay or use forum help. I PM'd a few of the sponsors here ($379 shipped was the best so far) also saw zstore.com and it's $300 there. I am inquiring on shipping, as well as a carbon fiber fang cover (anyone have this?) I don't want to go crazy modding it since I am not 19 anymore, but minor cosmetic to make it stand out.

3 weeks in and I have 2400km!!

I have ordered from EVO-R before (assuming that's the brand of fang cover you're looking at) price was good, but the quality of the product was bad. Then I had to chase them down for a refund, they would not send a replacement part to cover the manufactured defect. Having said that, there is a forum supporter who sells EVO-R products. I would buy from them if you really want it, they have better customer support from what I've heard. Just can't remember the forum supporter, might be "the Z store"?
