Guy's, be very careful on Forks of the Credit Rd. Cops are out in full force there this summer, ive been several times and got nailed for a very large speeding ticket there on last long weekend :shakes head:

Thanks for the info... we usually keep everything legal, it's a cruise/gathering, not street racing.. :icon17:

BTW, come and join....

may be away for the long weekend, if not ill probably join....
(BTW -wasnt racing, just got away from me a little on those nice hilly/curvy roads, its too easy to go over when its a posted 50KM/H zone :driving: )

GaleForce 08-13-2012 01:02 PM

That's what I thought. Long weekend in Toronto + nice cars = police. There will be no speeding or other shenanigans from this guy.

alcheng 08-13-2012 01:23 PM

Not being a a$$hole here but I would more appreciate people can just say "Yes I'll come" or "No I can't come at all"

Instead of "I may or may not come, it depends"

Then eventually nobody show up cos they never said they will come or not...

That's why I start the sign up 3+ weeks ahead of time thus let people can make up their schedule for it...

People always saying there no participants for Z meet anymore but people are always saying "I am not sure I can come or not... it depends"

No offense to anyone but just hoping we have a nice Z meet before the end of the season...

ye forks of the credit isn't really an area you should be driving quick in either. the road is very narrow and if there isn't cops, then other cars are your problem. I remember last time we were there with Mike there was some smart *** flying by with his beemer. Not cool at all.

But ye the same way we know of these nice routes, so do cops. Earlier this year me and alcheng and my friend were on that other route thats on the map in the meet details. We were doing a casual speed of a bit over the limit. and as we came down one of the hills there were two cop cars hiding behind a push trying to stop cars coming the other way. We saw them first so we slowed down, but the second they saw us, the radar guns came up instantly. So ye always keep an eye out. I am actually debating getting one of those police radar devices that starts beeping when there is cops aproaching. Not cuz i brake the law but just to be on the safe side.
