Ya it was pretty gay the arena had an event going on that weekend definitely didn't make finding each other any easier. I got to the north side a little after one. By the time I found mr sir it was probably 115-120. Can't believe the arena was busy though the chance that could happen were pretty slim IMO! O well.....

Anyway the cruise was fun we did the forks of the credit twice which was nice doing it in both directions! Sorry if my buddies cousin who came pissed you off mr sir (mitko I think probably spelled it wrong sry) the guy in the Audi (Brett) can be a bit of a dumb a$$ there was at least two times me and my buddy gave him sh!t for his crazy driving/lane changes. Normally the goal is not to draw the heat towards us by not doing those stupid things.

I wish we actually had more people show up/willing to come out to events. Or more people interested in general as we know not all owners are on forums or even into meets, shows or cruises. It gets to the point were its only worth doing something open to all kinds of cars like the ertefa meets for example. Just get meets for modders/car enthusiasts and the turn out is there. If you try to a "370" or another specific car meet. The turnouts are very slim I will come out Toronto though if we do arrange something here in the new future. I am always up for another reason to be my Z!

Very good one! One corner you need to be careful in the one direction because you will bottom out if you stay to much inside right......

oh i didn't mind the Brett, his aggressive driving is his own problem not really an issue for me. You did spell my name right btw.

i'm up for 21st victoria day meet, if you guys are up for it, we can do a location in the city this time, or maybe map out a longer cruise route else where. Lets see how many people are up for a meet, i dont mind mapping out a cruise route.

I am up for a Victoria day meet to and a cruise!

Brett pissed off his cousin(kevin) I guess cause he was passing really close to him and cutting between his car and another one. Was just hoping he didn't piss you off. Glad he didn't he normally doesn't come out so he probably won't be at the next one

after about an hour staring at the map, i think i found pretty much the most entertaining road coarse in the area. Here is my suggestion for the cruise route we should take for the next meet, i might go check it out this weekend just to make sure all roads are accessible and worth while.

The idea is as follows:
- meet at the Mohawk Racetrack parking lot (park in the corner near the road so that people that miss it can still spot you from the road) around 10-11am
- wait about an hour for everyone to get there, shouldn't be too hard its literally on the 401 (exit 312, see point A on the map)
- then we make sure everyone knows the route so that if we get separated we dont get lost since we are going to be taking some small roads.
- then we go off on the cruise:
- first interesting bit is going to be a number of hairpin turns on Britania Rd.
- Sideroad 4 will follow which seems to have some scenic valey views
- Sideroad 1 should be an interesting bit of road as well
- Mountain Brow/King road also looked nice and curvy
- then follows the bit i hope we have access to, i spotted this thing on the map it literally looks like a race track from satellite view, its the closed loop on Hickery Lin just north of the 403
- and finaly to complete the cruise we will follow the Snake road, which i think might be the best one of all of them, to Dundas and Hamilton St. There is a plaza there we can get something to eat. (point B on the map)
- After we eat i think we should definitely follow the same route back to Mohawk Racetrack, where we will regroup for the last time and be off in our own directions. Of course if people dont feel like driving back they can always take the 403 from the lunch location and go from there.

Here is the route map: Route
Google estimates it to be 54km so it should definitely be a nice day of cruising

PM me or post here if you are up for test driving this route this sunday, so that we can cordinate a mini meet

Hey guys,

I just picked up my new to me Z 2 weeks ago from Montreal but I live in Niagara. I may be up for a spirited cruise but I am still getting a feel for the car and dont feel comfortable driving it agressively yet. I have an old BMW 328is coupe that I can slide around corners all day long but the 370z feels very differnt to me after driving the 328is for 12 years.

Anyways I will watch this thread and try to make it out, I used to do most of those roads when I had my Ninja 636.

Totally down for this Sunday, this route, location are about 15mins from my house and would work great. I know all the local food places and a couple other nice places in the area if you want to hit anything else.

Count me in.

Just did some more research on that track looking thing at the bottom, its actually closed off and private property so we can scrap that from the route. I added one street that seems interesting that i had missed near the beginning of the route, i've added it.

here is an updated map route 56.9km: Route

i will be doing some further investigation on the surrounding roads (or at least as much as google maps allows for) and will get the finalized route posted by friday. I am bringing a friend with me, he drives an IS250, he recently got an SLR camera and is eager to snap some shots, so we might be doing an on and off thing as we cruise, if we find good locations. He wants to wax his car sunday morning, which i'll probably help him with so it gets done faster, so probably best time for us to meet at Mohawk Racetrack parking is 12-1pm. For those of you that want to come let me know how that works for you.

@Shotta: welcome to the forum, and congrats on the new Z. Most of us care too much about our cars to drive them too aggressively anyways, so you should be right in place. Trust me when i say this the Z will be much more enjoyable on a winding road than the bmw, the stiffer ride and more responsive handling really makes things more interesting. Plus if you have the VDC on your probably not going to slide at all, it will cut the throttle and brake before you even think about flooring it around a bend.

So just so we have this in a bit more organized format here is a list of confirmed attendees, feel free to add yourself:

Location: Mohawk Racetrack
Date/Time: Sunday April 29th, 2012, 12-1pm
Type of Meet: Cruise
Route: Map
